The Return
A brief life as a national celebrity, being quickly destroyed by the media and wrong business associations, William “Divot” Mulligan, the charismatic leader of a group of senior golfers, stung by humiliation and unable to cope, disappeared. Convinced by a visit from past friends that the only way to face and destroy the demons residing in his head, renew his life and revive the values he had once compromised, he had to return. But he had questions that had to be answered: Will it be the same if I go home again? Are we who we have always been, or does life’s torments permanently change us? Upon returning and being acclimated to his old friends and idyllic life, Divot thought he had the answer. Suddenly, an old problem and a new question emerged. His nemesis, March Rightly, who precipitated the events that led to his downfall, re-entered his life. Through twists and turns he found himself in a position to enact his revenge. Should he take it?
