They all have their demons. They all have their stories. They all have their reasons.
Sammy, desperate to separate herself from her parents legacy, must face her own harrowing reality when a friend she meets while working at a small bar in New Orleans introduces her to The Roost, a mysterious tattoo shop that never seems to get any traffic. She fits right in with the rag-tag gang that inhabits the joint despite their obvious differences; there's Mars, the domineering father figure; Hutch, the grumpy and humorous artist; Roman, the struggling ex-soldier; Cato, the quiet and brooding medic; and Sully, the ex-pat that she can't seem to get off her mind. They stand by her as she battles fierce grief and loss, but as each day goes by she grows more suspicious of what they talk about behind closed doors- and more determined to be apart of what it is they really do. They don't seem to understand just how capable she really is, and despite running from her past, she's determined to prove herself- at any cost.
