Overview

A poor maiden named Eylah and her family are scorned by the locals of their community, and they struggle to survive as a result. Eylah takes matters into her own hands to fend for herself and her family by working long, hard hours. About the Author

“Quitting is not an option, you can do it…”

Sonia O is a businesswoman who was born in Nigeria but moved to Los Angeles when she was 16 years old, to attend college. She graduated in 2018, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Business Administration. She has since moved to Houston, Texas where she lives on her own but has regular visits from her family who still live in Nigeria.

Having started her own business after moving to Houston, Sonia hopes to expand upon it by becoming an author. She has always been interested in writing stories since she was at a very young age, and this is where she sees at least a part of her future lying.

In her spare time, apart from writing, Sonia likes hanging out with others, listening to music, cooking, trying out new dishes with her wide circle of friends and dancing, at one time belonging to a cultural dance group. Sonia doesn’t own a pet but has always been an animal lover and would like to have her own dog one day soon.

In the future, Sonia hopes that she will become a successful writer and businesswoman, with her work reaching out to a large cross-section of people, entertaining and educating them in equal measure.
