Overview

The Sanctuary is the story of the Sanders family who owns and runs an animal rescue in Ohio. They have raised their son as well as their "adopted" son here and life was great. As Seth Sanders left for college, his adopted brother Connor Rylands stayed behind to work at the Sanctuary which was his passion. Seth set off for the big city attending NYU thought never quite felt like he fit in that fast paced left. After college he got a job at an accounting firm as a CPA. Shortly thereafter he received word his mother passed away and two years later his father died from a sudden heart attack. Seth returned to the Sanctuary realizing how much he missed life there and how much he missed Connor, now also a grown young man. Seth couldn't help but stare at how Connor developed. Broad shoulders, sandy hair and a six pack. Seth was out in NY but not at home. Sure, as teenagers he and Connor played around a little but that was many years ago. Now the decision was whether Seth stays at the Sanctuary and takes over his fathers role or goes back to NY. He had taken two weeks off for his fathers funeral and by the end of the first week He felt so much more relaxed and comfortable his decision was almost made. Connor asking him to stay was the icing on the cake. It wasn't long before Seth picked up where his father left off and actually started to look at expanding the Sanctuary to include more animals and different species. Of course this took money and Seth had a knack for coming up with ideas for getting more private and corporate sponsors.
