About the Author

After earning her journalism degree from Cal. State University, Sacramento(Actor Tom Hank's alma mater)Hagin King wrote and hosted the first of her weekly television news programs. Before relocating to Palm Beach, Florida, where she toiled as a news reporter in both print and broadcast journalism before penning eight titles in five genres, including two fiction novels: The Brat Pact: Nefarious, 600 pages and The Crowne Affaire, 500 pages. The writer's other titles include her five volume "Real Life Poem Series": The Genesis; Secret Diary: Lost Poems; Caged-Reality's Poems; Conscience-Conscious:Sociatal and AWAKENING-Paradigms Challenged. Further, King has authored a motivational workbook entitled, "I'm Published" a "How To" book for starter writers, and she is presently working on a biography centered around do-whop legend "Dion... of the Belmonts." Hagin King, who shares the same birthday(September 21) as macabre author, Stephen King, is a strong advocate for literacy, a passion that began during her pageant days, as the three-time contestant winner platformed for literacy and continues her support, teaching Adult Basic Education(ABE)with the Palm Beach County Library System and providing gratis services to the Palm Beach Literacy Coalition, before joining their staff as a community educator. When King isn't working, she's playing tennis or traveling, having visited Greece, France, Mexico, Italy, Canada, England, Germany, etc. "My only regret is that we can't take our beloved kitty cats: 'Sir Tot'-a flame-tip/creme and 'Wee Kitty'-a tiger striped short-hair," says King, who travels with her husband, Keith, and has included both of the adored felines in her two fiction novels and in countless videos on YouTube.com/user/haginkinglive
