Overview

A book release - and release date - with serious readers in mind. 20% of profits on this book through January 31, 2019 go to research at A Theory of Publishing (atheoryof.com) into environmental publishing.

A series of quite short chapters (impressions) are used to tell nine distinct stories (dramatic, comedic, and existential) which are organized into three books (Sevilla, Alhambra, and Barcelona). Only together do they hold as a complete work depicting the social, intellectual, existential and altogether absurd conditions of modern religion, its abuses, and its consolations, within the continent's most prominent arena (Spain) for liberal and conservative clash.

The work is the result of the authors self-appointed mission to reconcile three prominent faiths (Judaism, Islam, and Catholicism) out of pragmatic necessity and by pragmatic means, while coming to terms with a ground for practicing his own faith (Catholicism), which a modern intellectual can respect.

About the Author

Casey S. Schreoder is a fifth generation German-Catholic American. He lived in Spain for over two years in preparation for this work - on the cheap and amongst the people - soul searching for his religious identity, which is, through fiction, related in The Spanish Trinity.

An intellectual writer, mathematical theorist, and survivor, he holds an MSci from DePaul University, Chicago and an M. A. in Philosophy from The Univeristy of California, San Diego where he focused on Logic, Mathematics, and Coginitive Science - though with a life-long affinity for Dostoyevsky, Kafka, and Camus.

His life is depicted in a short e-memoir (kindle, atheoryof.me) and his vision for America and the Western world (atheoryof.us) is due out this spring. His work is available through A Theory of Publishing at atheoryof.com, an environmentally dedicated publisher.
