This book came so naturally to me during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. The minute I heard Dr. Jill Biden's speech during the 2020 Democratic Convention, this book became an idea. The next day I began frantically writing. For a children's book, this book speaks of a solemn time in our life where children were not in school and people were separated. It leads on to the hope we had that students would once again return to the classroom and all would return to "normal."
