Brave Isabel snoops around the stables and uses her staff to help her sleuth though the back alleys of London. Despite the mounting body count, Isabel can't help but wonder about her growing feelings for one of the brothers Colford. VERDICT With plenty of castle intrigue and romantic suspense, Adair's debut historical ushers in a promising new voice.
