Kandy Grim grew up in a house of all girls who love to cook. She has had chronic health problems most of her life and knows what it's like to struggle financially due to health issues. She received a bachelor's degree in nutrition and has worked in both government and hospital settings. She spent several summers in Europe, and has done a couple of cross-country trips (U.S.)--all with her family.
