About the Author

Linda Johnson was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Northbrook, a suburb of that great city. She attended University of Illinois, where she received a bachelor's degree in Advertising. She worked at several large ad agencies in Chicago, ultimately as a corporate media director.

When the cold and gray of Chicago got to be too much, she and her husband, Brian, packed up their dogs and horses and relocated to sunny and warm North Carolina. After working for several years as the owner and manager of a hunter/jumper equestrian facility, Linda decided to trade riding for writing.

She writes suspense novels and short stories and particularly enjoys creating smart, psychopathic villains.
