About the Author

Dustin Hull Heuston, PhD—author of The Third Source: A Message of Hope for Education—holds an impressive presence in the world of education, which has allowed him to be one of the most innovative minds in the application of technology as an educational delivery system. He has dedicated his entire career to education since his role as an educator at Brigham Young University and the Head of Spence School in New York City. His discovery that teachers need extra resources to provide personalized education to all their students led him to founding Waterford Institute, a nonprofit educational solutions company dedicated to providing every child with the finest education through the development of high-quality educational models, programs, and software.

Dr. Heuston serves as founder, chairman, and COO of Waterford Institute, located in Salt Lake City, Utah. He received his undergraduate degree from Hamilton College and holds a master’s degree in American Literature from Stanford University and a PhD in English Literature from New York University. He currently teaches an Honors English course at Waterford School.

Dr. Heuston resides in Salt Lake City with his wife, Nancy who is head of Waterford School in Sandy, Utah. Dr. Heuston and his wife have six children, 15 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
