Lily remembered how wild the world she had lived in because of their huge horns. There were huge sauropods with long necks that reached high into the trees to eat the softest leaves. It was very fast and had very sharp claws. As it ran through the thick bush, it spewed dust and scared her with its speed and agility. Lily then saw the Tyrannosaurus rex, the king of this old world. Its mighty roar echoed through the sky and froze her to the bone.

Lily not only learned about dinosaurs, but also about how species go extinct and how fragile the balance of life is in this cool, beautiful world. After some research, she learned that these beautiful species had died out because of changes in the environment and other reasons she couldn't understand. Lily started to think deeply about time and the effects that changes in the environment can have on the people who live there when she learned that whole species may vanish from the world.
