Overview

Part time fashion student, full time customer service agent Libby Wilberman thinks having a looser boyfriend, a drunken promiscuous mother and frequent nightmares about her abusive father is all that life has to offer. She envisions her dad's failed attempt to burn her mother alive and receives no comfort from Josh. She confides in a destitute but wise, strange and peculiar homeless man who jolts ideas of a possible journal left behind by her deceased father. Finally she and her brothers approach the abandoned wing of the house. They were never allowed to go there because that's where the tragic events took place and where their fathers things are. Going through the damp spider infested boxes and old floor boards they stumble across their fathers journals. In these journals they learn truths about him and utilize them to form a sort of mirror affect on their own lives, serving as a virtual father raising them with love and tenderness. They also find clues leading up to that tragic foggy evening. All the while local news reports of the "Dry Ice Killer" targeting crocked cops comes close to home for Libby and her family. From then on Libby sees danger on every corner! Her boyfriend, mother and step father Chief Inspector Ryan seem to be connected to these mysterious plots on her life. At home, in the streets and even at the police station Libby and her brothers are in imminent danger but are willing to risk it all to find out the truth about daddy. Things aren't really what they seem from the beginning all the way to the twisted end.
