About the Author

Swami Paramananda was an Indian spiritual teacher who lived from 1884 to 1940. He was a disciple of the great yogi, Sri Ramakrishna, and was instrumental in bringing the teachings of Vedanta to the West. He founded the Vedanta Centre in Boston and wrote several books on spirituality, including a commentary on the Upanishads. Swami Paramananda's teachings emphasize the importance of love, service, and self-realization, and continue to inspire seekers of spiritual truth around the world.
