About the Author

J Hirtle has spent the last dozen years writing about faith and addiction. With his writing, he explores how

these two extremes intertwine seamlessly. His first book, “Going Numb” tells the story of life with an addict.

His poetry is a recent literary and somber passage into the world of addiction,

the challenges of being a cancer survivor, the experience of a Pandemic ,and a life of faith.

His work has appeared in ‘Capsule Stories’, ‘With Painted Words’, and “Touched by an Angel” .

He was raised in San Antonio, Texas and now resides in New Braunfels, Texas.
