Overview

The Wavy Tailed Warrior is the fifth volume in the Told at Twilight Stories series. Nibble The Bunny is the central character in the first two volumes, and, even though Silvertip The Fox, Tad Coon and others are featured in the other six books, Nibble shows up, too.

Stripes Skunk is The Wavy Tailed Warrior. Most people and other animals, too, avoid skunks; they don't want to get sprayed. But Stripes is pretty easy going, although he loves honey from bee hives, and he loves catching fish, even though he hates getting wet. Stripes, Tad Coon, Nibble, and the rest of the gang find plenty of exciting in these 13 stories.

The same might be said about the listed illustrator, William T. Andrews, about whom equally little is known. All eight books were first published in the U.S. in 1923.
