Read an Excerpt
Chapter One
The members of the Watson Elementary School Werewolf Club were sitting around the outdoor fireplace in Mr. Talbot's backyard, barbecuing veggie burgers. Mr. Talbot is our faculty sponsor. It may seem strange for a bunch of werewolves to be eating veggie burgers, but we had sort of lost our taste for the real thing. Not long before, we had eaten some really huge meatballs when we saved Earth from evil space aliens. These space aliens had taken the form of meatballs, and we had no choice but to eat them. When I say huge, I mean as big as a person.
Mr. Talbot's mother appeared with a large bowl. "Who would like some nice chicken necks?" she asked.
"Ack!" said Lucy Fang, the only female member of the Werewolf Club.
"Ick!" said Ralf Alfa, the handsome and athletic natural leader of the Werewolf Club.
"Ook!" said I, Norman Gnormal, the newest member of the Werewolf Club.
"Fried or stewed?" asked Billy Furball, the most unsanitary member of the Werewolf Club.
"By the way," Billy Furball said. "Did you all know we have a vampire in our school?"
