Something is coming! Sherlock Holmes and Professor Challenger receive an ominous warning that the barriers between realities are breaking down and darkness is spreading! Soon, nothing will separate Earth from Wonderland, Neverland, or Oz, which will result in the end of everything, everywhere, and everywhen. An evil cabal, known in select circles as The White Council, led by Professor James Moriarty, Count Dracula, and Doctors Jekyll, Frankenstein, and Moreau plan on exploiting the situation for personal gain. But, are there even darker forces at work, behind the scenes? Alice Liddell, Wendy Darling, Dorothy Gale, Tom Sawyer, Huckleberry Finn, Mowgli, and Tom Swift are summoned to London at the behest of Holmes and several of the world's greatest minds, including Phileas Fogg, Doctor Dolittle, and Abraham Van Helsing, to go where no one else can and retrieve several ancient relics from Wonderland, Neverland, Oz, Mars, the center of the Earth, Camelot, and Storyland. Can they come together, with the help of Peter Pan, Pinocchio, the Cheshire Cat, and a host of others, to find the lost objects, discover the cause of the crisis, face the nefarious plans of wicked witches and a certain pirate captain? And who is the long-hidden Black Queen? Can they stop the crisis, and will all of them survive? Join us for a journey across time, space, and reality, as your understanding of what is legend, is challenged to the core.

About the Author

Richard Stephen Hartmetz was born in 1965, in Rochester, New York. He began writing at the age of six, and has never stopped. Author of 40 published books and a #1 bestseller “Secrets to Writing Well,” he has also acted as editor and publisher on more than 4,000 other books. He decided to form Starry Night Publishing, after finishing a 29 year teaching career, so that others would be able to get their work published, without spending a fortune and having to jump through hoops.
While serving as Educational Technology Coordinator at St. Margaret Mary, he was responsible for creating and implementing a curriculum presenting computer skills to students and running the school’s Chess Club. Mr. Hartmetz also created and ran the school’s haunted house.
“Mr. H.” coached a record four winning teams in the International ThinkQuest Competition, helping to create websites on The Civil War, Presidential Facts, and United States Facts. One project, “The History of Aviation and Space Travel,” placed first in the world, out of 7,000 students in 49 countries. He was honored with the Catherine McAuley Award for outstanding dedication and service, as well as receiving two citations from the Monroe County Legislature and one from the United States Congress. Mr. H. was also included in the Who’s Who of American Teachers, and won a Garden of Distinction Award from the Irondequoit Beautification Committee.
Richard enjoys gardening, writing, reading, collecting coins, bowling, and spending time with his family. He has an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Bachelor’s Degrees in Special Education and Psychology, a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology, and a Ph.D. in Education. He also maintains a Certificate in Elementary Education, and many other certifications. Recently, Richard became an ordained minister.
In addition to assisting others with the publishing process, Richard has written a series of books on “The Secrets to Writing Well,” hoping that it will aide others in writing higher quality work. He has a collection of Christmas decorations which includes 3,000 snowmen, 500 Santa Clauses, 200 nutcrackers, 75 elves, and 60 smokers.
Now, Founder and CEO of multiple companies: Starry Night Publishing, Starry Night Video, Yellow House Outlet, Flower City Books, and GoldenFlix Video, Richard has little time to dedicate to writing. He lives with his son, three houses away from his parents and brother, in a house the family has owned for more than a half-century.
