John Schreiner is the dean of British Columbia circle of wine writers and anaward-winning author. In 1984, he wrote The World of Canadian Wine and since thenhe has written a number of wine books, including the bestselling British ColumbiaWine Country, The Wineries of British Columbia (recently revised), and Icewine:The CompleteStory, the first book on the subject.He is a graduate of the Germany Wine Academyand a member of several wine clubs.He has judged wines around the worldand is a keen amateur winemaker.He lives in North Vancouver, British Columbia.
