Overview

Madrid, Spain. The little Marina, born to complete the family dream of an attractive middle-class couple. Her life was fated to the perfect happiness; nevertheless, the hell was hidden behind the walls of her house. For her, the only way to escape is turning into Beatriz: an attractive and cold woman, who is able to destroy everything that could make her suffer. Both women will know the death, the lie, the love and the passion while they discover they are part of the same fate.

With an intrepid and heart touching history, The Woman In Front of the Mirror presents the history of two women marked by the suffering and the struggling in an obscure men's world.A tribute to all women who resist suffering and discover that the true strength was always within themselves, and that it is only enough to look in the mirror and believe in the reflected person.

About the Author

Karina Zulueta, a Cuban-born writer established in Europe since 1997.

I was born in a small village on the east side of San Luís Island, in Santiago de Cuba, in the heart of a literature-related family. My father was a journalist and my mother a librarian and Bachelor of Spanish Literature, both big enthusiasts of books and writing. From an early age, I’ve participated in literary circles, where I developed my first writings.

After emigrating to Europe, I lived in several countries of the continent, cultivating a cosmopolitan spirit and enriching myself with extraordinary experiences. I am a defender of women and their empowerment in today's society as well as I appreciate alternative forms of sexuality and, as shown in my books, I focus on the feminine role in them.
