Overview

Appearing in the publication: Fashionable Dress, first as a series of articles “dedicated to consummate self-knowledge/expression and optimum utilization of one’s gifts and temperment”, "The Zodiac: Destiny’s Celestial Cycle", compiled into book form those articles in 1926.

The author of the book and articles: Polly Patterson, intended to help each soul achieve “supreme happiness” via an understanding of their “star-power”. By allowing a soul to choose wisely their work and associates and to help each soul round-out its potential and capabilities through an understanding of the power “the magnetic currents” wield over human events will allow us all to realize our dreams.

From the dawn of time, man has heard the call of the stars. Success or failure, joy or sorrow, pain or pleasure were derived from the heavens, or so it was believed - from the astrologers of Pharoah to the philosophers of ancient Greece. We have the priests of India to thank for keeping the ancient art/science of astrology alive through the Dark and Middle-Ages in Europe. Relegated to “superstition” status, the Occult science of astrology was rediscovered in the early 20th century, this book is testimony to that fact.

Not all souls are destined for greatness, but life was not intended to be a struggle against oneself. To the child born of poverty or great wealth, the stars bequeath – to a comparative degree, the same instincts, temperment and talents. Removed from conflicting and restricting environments and raised in a harmonious atmosphere, children have been known to blossom into the very same character traits predicted by the sign-influence beneath which he/she was born. An all-wise creator arranged for each sign to have certain gifts and/or limitations, the Zodiac reveals that arrangement.

The book’s goal is not to retard one’s power over their destiny but, rather, a friendly desire to aid in intelligently surmounting barriers against which human souls strive. What, because of a soul’s nature, should be avoided and which tools actually belong to an individual and how to speed their use are clearly explained.

Are our dreams based on wishful thinking or on real abilities built into Destiny’s Celestial Cycle: The Zodiac?
