"There's a Pony in Here...Somewhere.": A near-random, doubtlessly incomplete, and potentially inaccurate collection of life's fables and foibles.

"There's a Pony in Here...Somewhere" is a collection of vignettes and observations concerning Bill Turner's family, friends, business career, and spots visited over eight decades. A father had twin boys and was concerned that one was a strong optimist, but the other a constant pessimist. With Christmas coming up, he thought he would try to dampen their extreme behaviors. For the pessimist, the father filled a big box with toys of all sorts-electronic games, model airplanes, even an iphone. He filled the optimist's box with horse manure. On Christmas morning, the boys came down to open their presents. The pessimist opened his box, took out all the toys, but then quickly and carefully put them back in the box and closed it up. When asked what was wrong, he told his father "I'll end up breaking or losing them all in a few days." Meanwhile, the optimist, having opened his box, was scooping out the horse manure, slinging it all around the room and all over his pajamas. "What are you doing?" the father asked, and the son responded, "This is the best Christmas ever-there's a pony in here somewhere!"
