Does “happily ever after” really exist or is it found only in fairy tales? Gail and Mitch Conway believe they are living their own happy ending when Gail goes into labor. Instead of celebrating the happiest day of their lives, Gail experiences a medical crisis that leaves Mitch struggling with a life that he never imagined. Mitch is coping with raising a newborn and running his business when African-American attorney Taylor Burton enters his life.
