if only you'd put down that damn smart-phone or tablet and listen.
Well, and assuming your granddad lived those years in the same town, neighborhood, home, and body I did.

About the Author

I was raised in a small farm and oil field reliant community outside of Texas.
Most of my youth was spent rebelling against everything and everyone around me merely because
it and they were not in Texas. I had Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Grandparents living in Texas but,
I was being held captive elsewhere. My method of coping became, always looking for new experiences and
