About the Author

All my life I have loved horses. As a kid, I cleaned out a neighbor's stalls in exchange for riding lessons. I'm a US Marine after my tour of duty in Vietnam from 1966 to 1967 my parents purchased our family's first horse named Buttercup. She later had a little filly named Missy. After getting out of the service she would become my first horse.

Moving to the South years later my wife and I decided to get back into horses. While looking for a horse for a young girl we were working with I found the best horse I would ever have. We called him Thunder. This book is about Thunder the Wonder Horse. We learned a lot about each other over the years.

I'm also a trained horse farrier going to the Auburn Farrier School to get my certification. We presently live on a 66-acre farm with 4 horses and 2 donkeys.
