About the Author

Georgine Kaczmarek has been a professional penny pincher for over 40 years.
She started when she was a teenager by sending away for free premiums and has been
saving ever since! Saving money has always been her passion and talent.

Having mastered the technique her skill has dazzled many a supermarket cashier by saving at least 50% on her weekly grocery bill. Over the years she has given lectures and taught adult education classes on the art of using coupons.

After recognition through magazine articles and from TV interviews, Georgine decided to reach more people by offering them money saving tips and timely deals. So, early in 2009 she started the website Georgine Saves.

Through this blog she offers tips on saving money, where to find rebates, alerts about "Good Deals", and an active community for those looking to get the most for their money. In these times people certainly can benefit from learning more about how to turn this "low finance math" into BIG savings and Georgine is the voice of experience that can show them the way.

In December of 2010 The Washington Post acknowledged Georgine Saves as one of the
“online coupon sites that gets high marks” along with the likes of GROUPON.

Consumer Reports' Shop Smart magazine acknowledged her blog Georgine Saves as one
of the "Sites to See", and New Jersey Monthly listed Georgine Saves as a "Best Blog” in their issue of BEST of New Jersey.

Georgine lives in the suburbs of northern NJ with her husband, and has 2 married sons, one grandson, and one granddaughter.
