Overview

To Gain My Freedom is the story of the nobleman, Roderich, and the young woman Celeste. When Celeste goes searching for her younger brother, Ivan, she finds herself in Roderich's home. After arguing with Roderich about her freedom the three leave with Sasha to find freedom. Will they succeed in their journey or will the misfit group be captured and returned to Roderich's family in Switzerland?

About the Author

Becca Ward was born and raised in Ponca City, Oklahoma where she attended school until her first year of college which took her to Cottey College in Nevada, Missouri. After her two years at the school she returned to Oklahoma to attend the University of Central Oklahoma with a major in philosophy where she presented papers in 2009 and 2010 at the Language and Linguistics Student Conference and a two papers at the Liberal Arts Symposium in 2011.
Being of Native America, Dutch, German, and English decent has influenced her writing as she likes to research not only her culture, but other cultures as well. She also finds other languages interesting and is able to introduce herself in over a dozen languages.
