Walter Jon Williams is a bestselling, award-winning author. He began his career writing historical fiction, but has since become better known for his science fiction works.

Walter has written numerous works of alternate history, featuring Edgar Allan Poe (ANo Spot of Ground@), Mary Shelley (AWall, Stone, Craft@), Elvis Presley (ARed Elvis@), and the Empress Dowager of China (AForeign Devils.@) He has also contributed to the alternate history science fantasy series, Wild Cards.
