To Live or Maybe Not
Musician, historian Gary Revel takes you on an adventurous journey through his life. From his youth in school to the US Navy during the Vietnam War and then Hollywood, New York City, Nashville, Memphis then back to Hollywood. Even Gary surmises that as he looks back on his life even he has trouble believing all he has done.

John (The Rock Doctor) Kereiff wrote in his review of the book, "There's a fascinating journey in these pages, from those early days, to Gary's work with navy intelligence, to diving into the music scene in Hollywood where, all the tales of debauchery and hedonism you and I have only heard about are apparently true. He eventually traveled back across the country to New York City, Memphis and Nashville, and tells several entertaining anecdotes from his music career and his pivot towards family life before he began his investigation into the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. He uncovers evidence that, if true, proves James Earl Ray was NOT the assassin, and that MLK's and RFK's deaths were ordered by a Mafia crime boss."

John concludes, "To Live Or Maybe Not titillates, entertains, and gives you much food for thought- can't ask for more than that."

About the Author

Gary was born in the little town of Florala, Alabama situated on Florida and Alabama state lines. Growing up in several different towns, due to the divorce of his parents, and some unusual and dangerous events in his youth provided him a less than typical foundation on which to build his life. He joined the US Navy shortly after graduating high school, which brought him face to face with the dangers of more unusual experiences related to service to his country in a wartime setting. From the Navy, he was off to Hollywood, California, New York, Nashville, Memphis and back to Hollywood.

Somewhere during those years, he found time to investigate the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. which led to investigations to the killing of President John F. Kennedy and John's brother Robert F. Kennedy as Senator Robert Kennedy campaigned to become the President himself.

There's much more, that's why he chose to start writing books. He found it therapeutic to unravel some of his perplexing life adventures for his own mental health-sake and the enjoyment of others.

In today's world, he believes the title is most appropriate because so many have a vague feeling, these days, that their life too, is a matter of "To Live or Maybe Not".

He hopes some of his writing helps and inspires others even as he believes God kept him safe for such a time as this.
