Overview

What happens after you leave an abuser? Does it immediately mean you're safe, and are guaranteed a new start at life?

The saga of Tunisia and her best friends, Mecca and Avalon, continues with the teenage girls trying to pick up the pieces and repair their lives, even as their former abusers continue to harass and torment them. Mecca is in rehab, Avalon battles thoughts of murder and revenge, and Tunisia is receiving violent, threatening letters from Dee, her ex-boyfriend. The memories of their pain continues to eat at them, and each girl finds her own way to overcome the darkness.

In this compelling follow-up to the hit debut, "Abused and Abandoned", a fully-grown Tunisia continues to counsel her own teenage daughter about the dangerous aftermaths that may follow an abusive relationship. Here, the perspective of the abuser is explored deeper, their own violent histories are revealed, and the truth about how to stop the cycle is finally confronted.
