Overview

When I wrote about my adventures stationed in Greece, Spain, Utah and Texas for the Daily Brief, sometimes readers suggested that I do a companion book to Our Grandpa Was an Alien, continuing from the time that my daughter was born in January, 1980. I was overtaken by the thrill of writing historical fiction, and so never got around to it. For the amusement of those who enjoyed reading of our adventures together in Europe and in the US, I have collected the best of them into this eBook. As they were originally separate posts and written over a period of years, information is sometimes repeated from one to another. This is not a continuous narrative, but rather meant to be read in small bites
