Overview

Trillions were hard, bright, tiny things which suddenly arrived - millions and millions and millions of them - one windy day in a village called Harbourtown.

No one could explain them, much less why they had suddenly arrived. Were they a blessing, as their beauty suggested, or a deadly, inexplicable threat? Nicholas Fisk (1923-2016)
Nicholas Fisk is the pen name for David Higginbottom, a British writer of science fiction books, mainly for children. He was born in London and educated at Ardingly College, West Sussex. His works include Grinny, You Remember Me, Space Hostages, and Trillions. He also wrote the Starstormers series of novels. Fisk died in May 2016 at the age of 92.
