This is a murder mystery. The inheritors gradually discover that the uncle who left them five billion dollars was murdered because he belonged to a secret society, the Irish Blue Hand Society. This society is in conflict with a separate branch called the Sicilian Lapis Lazuli Society, an arm of the Costa Nostra. At the behest of their uncle's will, the inheriting family members board a cruise ship on a trip through the Mediterranean. The cruise takes the reader on a journey through humorous adventures and violent episodes. A Zurich bank account is discovered. A pharmaceutical company is the source of addiction and drug peddling.
