I believe it will help you think more critically about the people you allow in your space, which will help you make wiser choices in terms of a partner. Wiser choices will lead to longer, healthier, happier unions that will hopefully one day trump the odds that have defined marriage over the past several decades.

About the Author

Dr. Marc C. David is a native of Columbia, S.C. and a graduate of Morehouse College, North Carolina Central University, and Syracuse University. He has served as a professor, coordinator, director, dean, division chair, and currently serves as an associate vice president for arts and sciences.

Dr. David has written this book based on his years of dating, marriage, and observing relationships among his peers as well as the students he has taught and advised at various institutions around the country. His hope is that this book will help young people make better choices in terms of their relationships.
