Overview

This is a true story with several insider accounts of white-collar crime – the crime against our trust. The accounts portray the insidious impact of lies, which accumulate injustice in our lives. Lies leave behind, like contaminated water, pollutants that enter our body and psyche, distorting how we see and respond to the world. The account reviewed here first regards a small company for which I was employed as Senior Vice President. The fraud that I observed, enabled by pricey defense lawyers misleading a federal grand jury, was the most shocking wrongdoing that I ever saw happening right in front of me. Also presented here are insider accounts perpetrated by far larger villains with far greater illicit power and punch. Leading actors in my story include Gulf War illnesses, Fen/Phen, diet pills, Metabolife, ephedra 'supplements', dangerous drugs, FBI, conspiring officials, politicians, corrupt executives, unscrupulous lawyers, telemarketers, and more. A diverse array of offenders circling around like predators with a common theme – crime against our trust. The deepening toll of white-collar crime, founded on lies, compelled me to speak out. We must disincentivize lies. We must rebuild our trust. The quality of our lives and our children's lives are at a critical intersection. Do we continue to devolve or do we decide to do something about it?

This is also story of perseverance and resilience, of recovery from mistakes and attacks. And my primal drive to help others.
