No choice, but a good one. Raised in the country, trees, open air, run anywhere. Watched father remodel our home, mom take care of family. As far as i knew, all regular life. Yes, from time to time, a little strife, too bad, that's also life. Encouraged to be curious, yes, yes. So much to see and learn, how could a little boy, not yearn, nature, animals, bicycles, cars, and of course girls
As a teenager, family moved into town. Again no choice. Made it work, football, hot rod car, gas station job, girls, a little school, not much for rules. Big decision, work or college. Work, made a lot of dough, construction, glimpse of body destruction. Choose school, became a Metallurgical Engineer, Army Officer, married wonderful lady, worked in industry, wife with angels, got own business, now blessed with angel on earth. Retired, golf, now poet. Not bad for country boy. Started with toys for boys, now words for joy
