"The Tsunami of Grief" is a personal journey. I'm sharing my journey at a time when I experienced the early and raw beginnings of grief. This writing shares emotions and thoughts that I experienced when that tsunami wave hit. Some see it coming. Others are hit by surprise. Grief is personal and different for everyone, yet there is a sameness, linking us all together.
I want to encourage the reader to step through the journey with courage and with some expectation of fluctuating emotions that are a part of the grief experience. Many wonder what becoming one flesh means. The tsunami of grief removes all doubt. It is as if the right side of your heart is ripped out and you are bleeding all over the place.
There can be healing while looking back over the times that were beautiful with the one you loved; you remember that love. Grief is where love and sorrow meet.
The tsunami of grief will wane. You will regain your balance. Remember He walks with you through this dark time.
"My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness."
