Jonah Peter Holloway Author, Poet, Artist was born September 16th , 1986 in Cleveland, OH to the Late Constance Holloway And Anthony Bell. His father Passed when he was 4 years old, gripped with grief His mother struggled and due to some unforeseen events his mother was unable to provide care of her two young boys. And Jonah and his brother end up going into foster care he spent his youth jumping from home to home experiencing a life time full of events in a 12 year span from living in the rural parts of Pennsylvania/New York, to live in in the suburbs and inner city projects of Cleveland, Oh he has experienced homelessness and has seen the darkness and the light of the streets.by the grace of God he has overcome many hardships thanks to the love of his many siblings who helped to raise him. At 18 He enlisted in the Navy in AUG of 2006 and has served for 16 years. He is designated a specialist in Surface Warfare, Information Warfare and Aviation Warfare. Holloway’s tours include a tour with USS Higgins DDG76, NIOC Maryland’ GECC, NIOC Yokosuka’ FES shop where was acting LPO, IDS supervisor and DRMO Coordinator he deployed on two special mission platforms and was the Lead tech on board USS Barry(DDG 52) Additionally, he served as a LPO and a Lead Tech aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS McCAMPBELL (DDG 85) in the SEVENTH Fleet AOR in support of Pacific Presence and Freedom of Navigation Operations.

His personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (3 awards), FLOC(2 awards) Meritorious Volunteer Service Medal, Good Conduct medal ( awards), Humanitarian Service Medal(2 awards), and various other unit awards was Named Senior Intelligence Sailor of the Quarter Q1 FY19.

Jonah Holloway is married to the former Makoto Kizaki of Hanno, Saitama, Japan and the father of

two sons Jade and Jahari.
