Overview

Home Brewing is a hobby which permits the production of beer at least as good as any commercial beverage but at a much lower cost. This activity can be as simple or as complex as the home brewer desires. The product will be tailor made to the brewer's taste or that of friends. At its most sophisticated development the commercial process can be almost perfectly replicated. Alternatively a good brew can be made as simply as a cup of tea - although it does take about four weeks. For the very keen brewer the hobby provides insights into chemistry, biology, botany and engineering. A perfect brew from your own production line cannot be bettered.

About the Author

Tim has travelled extensively and lived longer than many. He likes to pass on his experience in many fields to others. Tim has tried many hobbies and the books he writes are intended to help new entrants to these past-times. Occasionally even someone experienced in the hobby may learn a new wrinkle. The books are intentionally fairly short although hopefully not lacking in the information provided. There is no intention to produce exhaustive details of the subject matter. The books are intended to provide initial interest for those who may have only thought about trying the activity. Encouragement is the objective.
