Contrary to many Westerners preconceptions about Iran, the country has been changing in significant ways over the 20 years since the Islamic Revolution overthrew Shah Reza Pahlevi. Six essays on domestic developments and three on foreign relations, mostly stemming from a series of seminars organized at Oxford U., are presented by Hooglund (editor, ).
