About the Author

Susan and Steve Rinehart have collaborated on a variety of art projects . This is their first children’s book, following Susan’s success selling children’s art prints and original paintings to galleries and collectible stores throughout the US. Together they established a home-based school in California. Several of Susan’s popular paintings featured her students, including the model for Twyla. Steve has authored 4 books, including the best-selling "The Office Crossword Puzzles" under a pen name.

Wonderful illustrations and story verses. I've read a lot of teddy bear books (Pooh, Paddington, Picnic, etc.) and Twyla's Twelve Teddy Bears is a fresh and original addition to these great children's books. I loved the playful stories and humor. Each bear has their own page and their portraits are very appealing and funny. Highly recommended.
