JOANNE TOMPKINS is Associate Professor/Reader at the University of Queensland, Australia. Her books include Post-colonial Theatre (with Helen Gilbert) and Women's Intercultural Performance (with Julie Holledge). She develops virtual reality models of theatres for research and practical applications.
