About the Author

John Teton was born in Chicago, and graduated from Harvard College and the San Francisco Art Institute. He directed the film B’raesheet, produced the cosmology film program "Visions at T Minus Zero," and directs the campaign for the International Food Security Treaty, which arose from notes for UPSURGE. He is also the author of Appearing Live at The Final Test, a novel related to Upsurge. He and his wife, Jennifer, have three children and live in Oregon.
