About the Author

Louis Bontya III has always been interested in building historically correct recreations of aircraft that were present at Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941. He enjoys assisting other authors with research for their books on Pearl Harbor. Since he was very young, he has always had a deep interest in learning as much as he can about Pearl Harbor and has always been interested in history, especially military history.

Louis has been married for twenty years and has two children and seven grandchildren. He is a U.S. Army veteran and served in Vietnam 1969, and his profession career has been in architectural design.
