"A must read...103 years later, Wall Street turned out just as one man Predicted." -ZeroHedge.com, 2015
"Uncanny." -Overstock's CEO Patrick Byrne
" U.S. Money vs. Corporation Currency, served to warn the country of the replacement of the country's currency by notes printed by private firms." – Harvard Center for History and Economics

Alfred Owen Crozier (1863–1939) was a prominent Midwest attorney who wrote eight books on the political, legal, and monetary problems of the United States. He is best known for his 1912 work "US Money vs Corporation Currency," which argues against the formation of The Federal Reserve. He feared national banking, but he feared private control of the United States money system even more.

As Crozier noted, "the National Reserve Association will have power of life and death over the business of every man, the affairs of every corporation, the welfare of every community and the prosperity of the nation. It will be judge, jury and executioner. By inflating and contracting its corporate currency and raising and lowering its discount rate it can raise and lower at will the prices of all securities, property and human labor. By co-operating with the private central banks abroad it will help establish a universal money trust that will eliminate all competition between banks and bankers for bonds and loans and this world-wide money monopoly will double the mortgage on all mankind."

Crozier's prophetic book has been cited in the following modern works:

• The Study of The Federal Reserve and Its Secrets, by Eustace Clarence Mullins - 2013
• Panic!: Markets, Crises, and Crowds in American Fiction, by David A. Zimmerman - 2006
• Dividends of Development: Securities Markets in the History of U.S., by Mary A. O'Sullivan - 2016
• Who's Next? Analysis of Fed Plundering in Port Usury (Ny). By Joseph Hawranek Ph.D - 2015
• The Ruling Elite, by Deanna Spingola - 2012

Crozier also wrote:

• The Magnet: A Romance of the Battles of Modern Giants (1908),
• Nation of Nations: The Way to Permanent Peace; A Supreme Constitution for the Government of Governments (1914),
• League of Nations: Shall It Be an Alliance, or a Nation of Nations? Must Be One or the Other! (1919),
• What Ails our Country?: Cause of and Cure for Booms, Crashes, Depressions and Bank Failures (1933).
