About the Author

Dr. Manoj Kumar is working as Assistant Professor (Vegetables), Division of Vegetable Science & Floriculture, Sher-e- Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu. He obtained his Doctorate degree from Birsa Agricultural University, Kanke, Ranchi. He joined the post of Assistant Professor during 2005. He has an experience of 12 years in teaching, research and extension. Presently, he is working on the production aspect of vegetable crops. He has guided three M Sc. students during his tenure as a teacher. He has several publications to his credit, which includes research papers, technical bulletins, extension folders, newspaper articles & practical manuals and has also vast experience in managing the vegetable production under research trials. Dr. Sandeep Chopra is working as Associate Professor (vegetables), Division of Vegetable Science & Floriculture, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu. He obtained his Master's and Doctorate degree from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana during 1998 and 2001 respectively. He joined the post of Assistant Professor during 2001. He has an experience of 16 years in teaching, research and extension. Presently he is working on the production aspect of vegetable and spice crops. He has guided one Ph.D and five M.Sc. students during his tenure as a teacher. He has several publications to his credit, which includes research papers, technical bulletins, extension folders, newspaper articles & practical manuals and has also given radio talks in AIR on vegetable crops. Dr. Satesh Kumar, presently working as Assistant Professor (Vegetables), Division of Vegetable Science & Floriculture, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu. He is recipient of Dwarika Nath Memorial Award, studied his Masters from Maharana Pratap University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Udaipur (Raj.) during 2008 and Doctorate from Dr. Y.S Parmar UHF, Nauni, Solan (HP) during 2004. He has 12 year's experience in teaching, research and extension and has guided five M.Sc. students and several UG students. He has 41 research papers to his credit on various aspects.
