Features: All aspects of veterinary dentistry are covered, including (but not limited to) anatomy, radiology, surgery, and equipment used. The pictures, especially the dental charts, help to clarify salient features of dentistry.
Assessment: This book is very thorough and easy to understand. The author presents material concisely, using pictures and charts to help the reader see visual illustrations when appropriate. I would definitely recommend this text as an adjunct to training and as a reference to the veterinary technician. The guidelines from the American Veterinary Dental College are very helpful to outline technicians' limitations.

Procedures that veterinarians may expect technicians to perform, including administering anesthetics and performing routine surgeries, are covered. Also explored are general anatomy issues and fairly complicated procedures that a technician might not necessarily perform, but might be needed to assist the veterinarian with. Annotation c.
