Dr. Jagath Asoka was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka. He attended Prince College, Mahanama College, and Nalanda College in Sri Lanka before he earned his MS in chemistry from Kharkov State University, Ukraine, and his Ph.D. from Kansas State University, USA.
He has taught at many American and Sri Lankan colleges: Bloomfield College, Brookdale Community College, Georgian Court University, Kean University, Monmouth University, Ocean County Community College, University of Kelaniya, and University of Ruhuna. He resides in Newtown, Pennsylvania, USA.
