Overview

I know we live in a very confusing society, and the family has become the center of all this confusion. Show me a family that is not dysfunctional and I will rejoice.
Growing up in my "parents' home" (which they were faithful in reminding me) I learned many things I did not know I was learning until I had to use them with my children.
This is a collection of some columns I have written down through the years, emphasizing the impact of my mother and my father in my life. My prayer is that when I get to be as old as my parents are today my children will remember some of the things I tried to teach them. After all, you only get one shot at being a parent.

His weekly humor column, "Out To Pastor," is syndicated to more than 325 weekly newspapers.

Through 45 years of ministry, he and his wife Martha have been involved in three church-planting projects prior to their current ministry at the Family of God Fellowship in Ocala, Florida. The Snyders have three children and nine grandchildren and one great-grandson.
