About the Author

Treva was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, and discovered her
purpose in life at an early age. Treva has been caring for people
since she was 8-years-old and discovered expressing her life
through writing at the age of 10. In addition to being a poet,
Treva is also a Medical Assistant in Behavioral Health/Psychiatry.
In this book, Treva shares several life experiences and expressions
that many people in the world go through. She advocates for many
people who endure multiple yet different challenges in life from
abuse, molestation, rape, domestic violence, and crime within the
LGBTQ+ community. As a Black woman who grew up in poverty
and a woman of the LGBTQ+ community, the messages that are
delivered in her writings are powerful and need to be heard.
Despite her past life experiences, she continues to find a way to
love people like she’s never been hurt, all while loving herself first.
Through this book, Treva hopes to inspire people to come to the
forefront and face their fears.
